I'm not bashing on XSI or claiming Blender is the saviour of the modern world... however, watching this: http://tinyurl.com/26ao8a

I can't help feeling that there's been a few missed opportunities with regards to the FXTree and the various buffers we've been able to render out but not use all this time.

Forgetting the post re-texturing (using a UVs pass) for a second, just being able to use our Tags channel to "convert a number from an Object Index pass to an anti-aliased alpha mask" as this Blender node does would be very welcome.
