I didn't mean to start a fire and I still love XSI even though I haven't touched it in over 6 months. Stuck in Maya land and I think I will be for a long time.

Axel, you are correct. If you are just setting keyframes or moving
points, then, yes, it's just a tool.
But tell a Maya TD or an XSI TD that it's "just a tool", and it's the
equivalant of telling a Boeing airframe specialist that it's just a
piece of aluminum.
