Hi Tony,

You’ll have to apply a property->texture map and then in the Hair panel, with the hair selected you click the transfer map button. That’ll bring your animated texture onto the hair so you can control the density. Search the help file for more info on how to use the transfer map button.

Cheers,

MAC

Subject: offsetting hair growth

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone know how to control the growth of hair.

I have a shot of where the camera is pull back over a plane and I want hair to grow up as the camera passes over.

I thought I could do it using the Density Map function, but I can’t seem to plug in texture co-ordinates.

Anyone help with this?

Cheers

Tony.
