Envelope.Weights...

http://softimage.wiki.avid.com/sdkdocs/Envelope_Weights.htm

i use the weight painter op through PaintWeights() command. the file i use is organized in a way to be used with this command. not sure if it is any faster than the .weights method but i get an operator that i can remove for whatever reason. my tool can load in partial weight lists so this command is handy cause i dont have to get the weights first, modify them, and reapply them.

Hi all, I am writing a weightmap tool to apply weights map data back onto
a envelloped mesh. But I am am having a problem using

SIModifyFlexEnvWght command.

Has anyone else had this problem in 6.01 ?
Is there a better "object" method reapply weightmap information back on a
mesh (using a data/text file)?

Again all tips, hints are welcome.
