Can you plot out the sims of the objects you do
like and only tweak parameters on the ones that need it?

Thanks for the script Francois. It seems like as long as
I don't change any values, the sim stays the same. But when I
modify the value of any of the objects, the entire sim changes. My sim is
pretty simple, just a passive floor and 6 objects bouncing to a stop on it.
The objects don't even interact with each other much(depends on how it runs).
For instance, if I change the initial velocity of object A, object B lands in
a different place as before even thought the floor didn't change and the two
objects do not collide.

Yeah,
that happens. :-/ I made a little toolbar to help with this (attached,
python). Just put your objects in a group called 'RBDs'. The "Plot and
Constraint" button creates a null for each object, plots the animation
of the object and applies it on the null, and then constraints the object
to the null. When you want to make a change, the "Reactivate Sym" button
deletes the nulls and reactivates the symulation on the objects.
Fairly simple but helps a lot when working with lots of
RBDs.
