No, I didn't get around this problem and take a completely different approach on the setup UI just because of this limitation.

I don't think DisplayInfo changed since last year.
A workaround would be to use an "On Selection Change". When an object with a parameter using an "OnCliked PPG" is in the selection list, then it opens this PPG. This way, you can use the DisplayInfo to change parameter value and the PPG will run your "OnClicked" callback.

Just an idea, but never tested...

Hello all,

I know this thread is from almost a year ago but I was wondering is
you ever got around this problem Guillaume? Have there been any
updates to DisplayInfo since you posted this? I really hope so as it
could be such a nice system for many things but seems to almost
cripple itself.

Any info would be great!
All the best,

Simon.

Hi,

I made a self-installing plugin with "OnCliked" and "OnChange" callback.
Is there a way to keep the callbacks if someone use the "on screen editing
DisplayInfo parameters" instead ?

If the property page is open, I can use the "DisplayInfo parameters" but as
soon as I close the property page, the callbacks stop when I change
parameter in the "DisplayInfo".

Any idea ?

Cheers
