Nurbs UV Issues

Subject : Nurbs UV Issues

The Nurbs surface meshes I create in 6.01 seems to be lacking any UVs. Now I've only just started using nurbs for certain objects to reduce render time, but I thought maybe nurbs surfaces come with their own set of UVs. Anybody else running into this problem?
