With the cintiq, you are pretty close to analog insofar as painting/sculpting goes. Unless you want to fingerpaint the Surface tech doesn't really appear to be pushing the artist's boundaries much....at least not so far as I can tell. It's definitly cool though! I'd be down for galaxian or asteroids for sure.

Well that's just the thing. All those items (except for the Segway) I've tried out at a Siggraph at some point in the past. Chances are we'll get to try out a "Minority Report" interface at some point, but it doesn't mean it will be in our own homes or offices.

WellâI canât help but hope... it seems a step closer to Minority Report and I wish to use a Minority Report screen before I die. LOL!

Donât be so delusional! (can we say that in English?)

"The software giant has built a new touchscreen computerâa coffee table that will change the world. Go inside its top-secret development with PopularMechanics.com, then forget the keyboard and mouse: The next generation of computer interfaces will be hands-on."

Perhaps... but then I remember VR goggles, VR gloves, 3D holograph tables, haptic microscribe arms, soft monitor screens, light projected keyboards, and the Segway HT.
