XSI 32 bit renders way faster than XSI 64bit??!!

Subject : XSI 32 bit renders way faster than XSI 64bit??!!

Ok, running XSI v5.11 32 bit and 64bit on the same 64 bit workstation. For some reason, the 32bit XSI can render this particular scene about 100x faster than the 64 bit version. What the hell is that about!!?? Anything that would cause this?
