Well, you can’t deform chains, so that may be at the root of your problem. You can constrain them though. You’ll need to path constrain each bone and set the percentage of the constraint to something around about a point that suits the length of the chain at the point where the bone is.

 

Or you can use create chain from curve in the skeleton menu under animate.

Hi list

I trying to deform a skeletal chain to a curve much like the roller coaster tutorial but can't seem to find the tutorial anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas on doing this. I know it use to be on Softimage website but now it says that the page can't be found.
