I, for one, would like to see hardware anti-aliasing implemented. It is WAY faster. As most things hardware generally are. You can force it on of course, but it requires you to shut down XSI, change the display adapter's control panel settings, and restart XSI. And then the interface is buggy, so as soon as you finish capturing, you have to set it back. Takes a lot of time. Maybe there should be some sort of preferences panel like what you see in video games for controlling the XSI's OpenGL settings. And DirectX too, I guess. This is a hack that we use on literally every project. Some guys even leave it on and just deal with the interface problems. I think it's probably time for it to become a feature of the software if there's any way that's possible.

Hmmm...yeah, didn't realize that was missing. This really should be
included in the next release I hope. I honestly don't know why Softimage
removes such features. I think the users should be asked first if features
like this should be removed.
