Me too! We just needed some dust and smoke passes for the series of commercials we are doing right now and they were easy and fast to set up and render with BA Volumetric. I used Meshdistance to create nice smokerings - only thing to wish for is to warp the texturespace with the motion of the mesh so I could have done toric revolution the way smokerings do. For a specific dust pass I needed the dust to exist only in front of the amera and using a gradient driven by an animated texture projection I could fly my camera through the dust cloud and have it fade thinner upwards so it stayed nicely close to the ground. Straight forward and fast rendering too :)

One could only wish Guy R. could write a new non proprietary fluid solver for it and market it together with Holgers great shader.

second that - Holger's the man.
cant wait till I have to do volumetric clouds again :-)
can i just take a moment of your time to evangelise about Holger's amazing updated BAvolume shader collection
demo scenes, straight out of the box, producing beautiful smoke/fire  and incredible abstract volumetric goodness
and a snip at 250 euros, worth every penny!!!
i just wish there was more time in the day to experiment!
kudos
