Subject : OT: Internships outside the US?

Just curious if anyone knows of any up and coming 3d production houses in Germany? We have an intern here who is still enrolled in Uni, and has to leave the states soon and is looking for another internship opportunity outside the US. It doesn't have to be Germany, but I have no idea about visa situations for students between other countries. Also, he is mostly proficient in speaking German and English.
