Raytraced moblo is slow across the board, it's the nature of the beast. If anything from a few tests I've seen, MRay is faster at the raytraced parts because it is a dedicated raytracer, PRMan's raytracer is still slower. So ideally, avoid raytracing at all costs, especially if there is a lot of moblo you can pretty much get away with reflection maps etc...
