Hi Raf, Hi Juan,

it may have occured to you that I drew a distinctive line
between having had a dissapointing encounter in an
interview situation and judging the projects or shop
in general, e.g. I may have been insulted but I still pointed
out das werk for possibly having open positions (for interns).

Obviously, I don´t expect everyone to follow my personal
decision but instead suggested to check them out anyway.
Alot of my current collegues have been at das werk earlier
in their career, all of them are the most friendly and decent folks.

Cheers

tim

I second that.

maybe check out the Munich branch of 'Das Werk'.
Nice people there and they also look for internships sometimes.

www.virtualrepublic.de also have sometimes opportunities.
Very nice atmosphere and people there! Nice place to work.

Cheers,

Juan

Hi Brad,

I had an interview at http://www.daswerk.de/frames_e.html
(the Frankfurt branch) last tuesday, ending up thrown out
of the office by Michael Endres himself for asking too much.

While I will definitely never work for him, your intern may
still want to give it a try, it´s a nice project and the other
people there seem to be decent and reasonable folks.

Alternatively, I´ve worked at www.seed.de.com the
last four months, a great shop I can fully recommend.
Nice people, a wide diversity of projects and fair treatment.

Drop me a mail if you need further infos, I´ll ask if
they want/have/need a 3D intern soon next monday.

Cheers

tim

Just curious if anyone knows of any up and coming 3d production houses
in Germany? We have an intern here who is still enrolled in Uni, and has
to leave the states soon and is looking for another internship
opportunity outside the US. It doesn't have to be Germany, but I have no
idea about visa situations for students between other countries. Also,
he is mostly proficient in speaking German and English.

Thanks!
