I have been running v6 on 64bit Vista for a while. Not nearly as bad as I
had anticipated. Very few bugs that I have noticed, and the OS seems much
more stable than XP 64bit. Most drivers are available now and quite stable.
The graphics still seems to lack some speed compared to XP. Still a few
annoyances with a couple programs as mentioned, but not a show stopper in
any respect.
No problems with Quicktime that I have found.
You mean to say Vista 64 bit has Quicktime support? I did not know that.
The lack of QT is a big annoyance under 64bit. I am amazed how often Imiss
it, even though we never work in anything less than 16bit frames, we still
get previews, etc. in QT...
Aside from the lack of QT, I have yet ot find any driver I need missing
under XP64.
