Doesn´t the default quicktime installer for windows xp/vista
work for you? I´m pretty sure I´ve watched *.mov files
encoded in H.264 on XP64 using the Quicktime Player.

The apple/quicktime page just lists these requirements:

° Pentium processor-base PC or compatible computer
° At least 128MB of RAM
° Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Vista

Cheers

Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up. So I guess we are going to have to
wait a bit longer for that 64bit quicktime. How about a frigging 64bit
version of Photoshop or After Effects sometime in the next century. I'll be
dead I think before any Adobe product is 64bit or runs on Linux.

OSX is not really a 64bit OS. It was mainly marketing hype. Apple still
has a lot of work to do to get a 64bit OS. I believe this is why they are
trying hard NOT to support any 64bit windows...
