oldy but goldy.....
i have to animate a wrapper spiraling onto a bar of chocolate,
like an orange peeling, but in reverse
sounds fairly simple, couple of spirals with a twist deformer, or animated
creation properties, then loft between them...
but i get nasty pinching, and it looks too 'mechanical' and regular
also tried skeleton from curve (spiral) but the bones center's are all over
the place, so the animation looks awfull)
thought someone here may have done this on a past commercial and could share
their insights?
first workable reply gets a bar of said chocolate!
