Subject : DogLeg Setup Reference?
( second attempt to post this )

Hiya all,

So I'm rigging up a quadruped, and consider the default Quadruped 'less than ideal' for production.

I'm curious if anyone can point me to any reference on rigging a dog-leg/Quadruped that they wouldn't mind sharing?

I have an engineered my solution, but am curious of other solutions that have been used in the past that would most likely be an improvement over my setup.  ( which is a huge improvement over the default ).

My areas of interest are on the compression and control of the three boned leg setup, based on realistic movement.
I was kind of shocked at how little resource there was online about this subject for XSI...

Any pointers, or help would be much appreciated.
I'll also compile any info I get, and throw it online for future animators looking to solve this age old problem without having to re-invent the wheel again.

Thanks in advance.
