still waiting on a response from Softimage. I sent an email to phil over there and he said he would get back to me.. I imagine they are crazy busy with Pre Sigg and all.
The two or three BVH I was having probs with worked flawlessly on the xsi biped rig, I wonder if MOTOR was designed with that rig as a test subject..
So your issue has been with shoulders and arms as well eh?
 
I did find that the arms solved themselves much better (using IK) if the IK control was a child of the chains root it was driving.
 
I had a few other setups that had the IK controls parented differently than the biped rig.. and they gave very bad results.. but when I tried to mimic the biped Rig hierarchy as closely as possible, I had better results..
 
Odd though isn't it.. Shouldn't MOTOR work regardless of hierarchy? I thought it was more of a spatial solver for applying animation data from character to character, or mocap to character....
