I must agree Flinx, this looks dreadful. Two words
Final. Fantasy.
A huge geeky technical achievement, but why the
hell not do it live action and let the cg do what its best at - creatures,
fx and environments.
I'd happily go and see Hoppo, Jolie, Winstone et al
in a live action version of this, as it stands, it looks like a massive waste of
time and talent. The "humans" look really creepy. <shudder>
Zemeckis needs to have a word with Peter Jackson.
Or go away.

Plastic dolls? I find it absolutely stunning
visually and am glad there are pioneers out there trying to push the
boundaries of digital content creation with movies of this sort.
What I didn't really care for was the recycling of the audio track
from 28 weeks later. That movie was like a Sci-Fi channel b- flick with a
large budget and for Zemeckis to use it as well makes me think the movie is
going to be of similar quality......despite the imagery.

i don't....
i want to see jolie, hopkins, etc. in real, not as
plastic dolls.....sorry if i insult anyone, but i find this type of
3d-animation just a waste of time
