Does working with a wide aspect ratio monitor cause any issues with the gui's of any apps you use......or does it just seem odd to work with say XSI stretched wide like that?

I personally love the Dell 24 inch.  I was going to purchase one 30 inch but for the same price, you get two 24s.  The 30 inch has a higher resolution but will consume both your DVI outs (if you even have that) and I don't think the extra resolution is necessary.  The 24s at 1920 x 1200 seem to be a great balance of screen size and resolution and you can't beat it for the price.  Picture quality is fantastic and monitor is well built and sturdy.
