Still using trusty dual dell 20" 1600x1200's here.
No idea why but I still prefer the 4:3 aspect for 3D, even after using widescreen.

Just wondering how the people find Dual 24" ? Don't you get a HUGE field of view there? I'm not sure I'd want anything bigger than the 20" side by side without feeling like I had to really turn my head.

Each to their own though.. I still wouldn't say no to a 30" dell if anyone was giving one away :)

Regards,
Simon.

hi james....

well i have the dell 24" on the right here beside me on one machine, but infront of me, on my main workstation, i have a 24" eizo and i have to say even if the dell is quite good, it doesn't even come near the eizo......so if you really want to have something that gives you true colour feedback > EIZO!
ok, its like three times the price or so, i havn't checked lately, but its worth every cent.....

Betreff: monitors?

Hey guys, my little 17" macbook pro display is becoming a little too restrictive, so im shopping around for an additional screen,

Anyone using Dell 24 / 30" screens? If so are they upto task? Specificly black levels / banding? (more so on the 30", as the laptop has dual link dvi on it…may as well use it)

Cheers

James,
