Rob, you have to remember that for the large majority of XSI users,
feedback/criticism/comments etc, are purely based on what they have to
work with when a new release comes through the door.
I guess it's up to beta testers to provide useful and comprehensive
feedback to the developers, especially when major changes are made to
the software. We (who aren't involved in that process) can only assume
that the beta testers of XSI are providing that kind of feedback.
Good luck to Soft at Sig!

you're not wrong, Brad.
As much as people have commented/complained about new render options
and UI in v6, if they knew how much work he did on the actual core
render architecture for v6 - and not just technically - try and
appreciate the sheer political and logistical effort needed to push
that amount of change to any complex system within any organisation.
News like this about v-ray is the result of all that - lets hear it for
the vikings ;-)

If everyone who ever promised halfy a beer actually bought him one, he
would be too drunk to work anymore.
And if everyone actually knew how much beer they *should* be buying for
him, and actually did, he would die from alcohol poisoning.
cheers!
