All the big suites still have a CRT grade 1 for reference (whether
they're lined up properly is another question). Are there LCD replacements for
grade ones yet?

I’ve no idea but I’ve been mostly away from TV during the switch
over from CRT to LCD for computers. LCDs don’t shift colour anywhere near as
much as LCD but the colour responses are different, so whether it ever will
happen I’m not sure. That and the amount of cash Sony get for their grade ones,
they’re not going to give that up lightly.
