Hi Brent
It sounds like the exact problem I'm dealing with.
Is there a workaround other than auto keying or keying each time you move something?
Our deadline is before the end of august so anything that can help us in this regard would be super cool

Thanx

Gerbrand,

Sounds like it might be this bug: UDEV00239183: Loosing previous poses
when moving controls

I believe it *might* rolled out in a QFE for 6.02. I have asked someone
internally to clarify but with holidays and SIGGRAPH I'm not sure when
I will get an answer back.

The bug happens when you select a bone in the transform tool that you
have
previously posed (but not saved) and then select a different object
without
making any further changes to the bone. The next time you modify
anything
else in the chain that bone will pop back to its saved position.

Feel free to re-ping me with this issue if you haven't heard back by the
end of august. (when I am back from holidays ;-)

Thanks.

Sorry if this has been asked before but every now and then when I save keys for a character in translation, all the rotations I've done for that pose jumps back to there previous value. also when i move the end effector on a chain without saving the position, and then move the up vector, the effector jumps back to it's previous value. This is very annoying when doing pose to pose animation. is this some strange setting

somewhere or is the software a bit f#$(at)ed???

Thanks
Gerbrand
