6.02 undo not working winxp sp2

Subject : 6.02 undo not working winxp sp2

works for a while when i first start xsi, but after a few minutes it stops working completely!

commands are still being logged in the script editor, but undo is greyed out in the Edit menu....

i have tried changing the size of the undo stack and it won't come back without me restarting

anyone else had this?
