1 particle per point?

Subject : 1 particle per point?

hello...i want to emit one particle per point on a grid. any ideas how to get this to work? the emission rate seems some to have some random positioning built in, even when you set the emission rate to the number of points on the object it actually emits more particles than the rate value. also it doesnt distribute them evenly one each point but leaves gaps and emits more than one on other points...ideas...ta...daniel
