Hi Bernard,
The one you published recently (scripting shaders) at xsiblog was really 
good for learning. There is also a lot of other very good articles about 
scripting on xsiblog, but not all of the are aimed at beginners, 
obviously (I am speaking from my own beginner experience).
Helge's dvd was great as well.

I'd like to see something similar in the book. The best way to learn imo 
is on real life examples.
