Yup. It’s the only one I get.
Both DirectXImport.dll and
DirectXExport.dll are missing.
Who. I have no clue how to find an error
with Process Monitor nor Dependency Walker. I just installed both and it’s
Chinese to me! ;-)
How can I get such an error with a fresh
install of XSI?

DirectXImport.dll with XSI 64bit
Is that the only error you get?
I use Process Monitor or dependency
walker to troubleshoot these types of issues.
I doubt this is about directX itself,
rather it is a missing dll or a wrong version of a dll being loaded.

Subject: error DirectXImport.dll
with XSI 64bit
Hey
I just installed XSI 6.02 64bits on my new PC and I’m
getting an error that says:
Library not found:
c:\Softimage\XSI_6.02_x64\Application\Plugins\DirectXImport.dll
Why is it giving me that error? The dll is in the right
place, is there something I have to update from Microsoft about directX?
Thanks
MAC
