I get the same error on vista ultimate 64bit

also the mod tool addon doesnt appear to load properly under vista 64.
(the menu appears to only be half complete)

i will write up a more informative report (its my home computer that im just putzing round on, hence the vista 64)

I use Process Monitor or dependency walker to troubleshoot these types of issues.

 

I doubt this is about directX itself, rather it is a missing dll or a wrong version of a dll being loaded.

Hey

 

I just installed XSI 6.02 64bits on my new PC and I’m getting an error that says:

 

Library not found: c:\Softimage\XSI_6.02_x64\Application\Plugins\DirectXImport.dll

 

Why is it giving me that error? The dll is in the right place, is there something I have to update from Microsoft about directX?
