cad files and .stp file

Subject : cad files and .stp file

Afternoon everyone,

I am having to import a cad file, and it has been sent over to me as .stp file !

does anyone know a way of importing this into XSI ?

or should I go back to the client and request it in .dxf file and use Redmotion's dxf importer.

or is there a better way ?
