well, i had this problem too, some time ago. In fact it's nothing
special. if you have 5.x installed on your machine and now install 6.x
the rendermap will break in 5.x. Just open a command prompt from the 5.x
install, type "runonce" and hit enter. Now everything should work again
in 5.x but not in 6.x anymore. so if you switch to 6.x just do the same
for 6.x.
