I seem to remember a plugin (on highend) that imports particles into realflow from maya, and from there you can export it to xsi, quite the workaround yeeeeeees...

Thanks guys. We don't have the BA_Volume shaders here but we'll keep it in mind.

Right now we're using a Maya > RF4 > XSI hack that seems like it will work. I have to test it more tomorrow.

Thanks again

BA_Volume has a shader that loads Maya Particles cache files. Works Great.

Does anyone have experience getting maya particles into xsi?  We have a full bubble sym done in maya here and need it in xsi for all look development, pass and rendering. Even if we could just convert the particles to geo (spheres) and get the geo and animation into xsi that would work fine.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
