Ummm - I assume you mean the factory fonts XSI users for display etc?
Any reason it couldn't pull those itself as well as any fonts that are
installed on the system (including the user's .fonts directory?)

Does it only work with the factory locations or should this work with
user directories as well? i.e.
~/Softimage/$XSI/Application/mainwin/mw/fonts ? Is it limited to
truetype fonts? Does it follow symlinks?
