Thanks Mikko. Having to copy to the XSI directory is ok for a
single-man operation, but we need something more integrated, to assist
in distribution of fonts, users customizing their own fonts without
needing root priviledges, but I also want installed fonts protected so
people can't break their systems. Most apps pick up fonts from a
shared location, i.e. the same experience as windows users get, plus
from the user's .fonts directory. I also like the option of adding
network locations for quick distribution of fonts only temporarily
required.
