Take your time and have a look into xml and use the build in xml parsers.
It's worth to do that. You can use xml in most programming languages and it
is the best way to do any pipeline stuff. I think the
http://www.xsi-blog.com/archives/42 is a good tutorial how to use it. Write
your folder structure in xml an parse it.

One way could be to get the "deepest" directories and run makedirs(),
which will create all directories in-between.
