Hi Bernard,
I have not had any positive experiences with x-stream for LW at all and the customer service and support is non-existant.
You shouldn't have to wait too long before you can purchase Xstream V7 which will have all of the bug fixes that should have been in 5 :-) At least the version numbers will match.
It does work well as standalone but integration is still to unreliable and fiddly.

Hello,

Sorry for the OT, but I don't know where to ask this, and I don't want
to use the e-on forums because, well, I don't want them to answer this
question.

So we're trying to get the XSI-Vue xStream plugin up and running, and
as soon as we try to load something it crashes XSI right away.

We're not getting any form of decent support from e-on. Their North
America phone line does not asnwer. They have this sort of web system
for support calls, where it's pretty much like a phone conversation
but in the form of a forum discussion. Well, it's a sad joke. They
usually take 5-7 days to even answer.

They said "install the latest full install (not upgrade) from our
website, which you will find in the download area". The download area
doesn't have a full install, only upgrades. So we ask if we can get an
actual *link* to a full install, and extremely politely mention that
we would appreciate an answer within a 6 days period. Up to now, no
answer, so Monday it's going to be 7 days.....

I mean..... what the heck is wrong with these people? We gave them few
grans in softwares and we can't get a link to a full install download?

So I was wondering if some of you had to deal with these people and how was your experience. Perhaps there is something we should know?
