One problem I get is when I use xsi subdivisions (actually the only
problem at this point). I would like to export it as recommended with
the flag (found under the "mi Archives" tab):
"Use a geometry shader for subdivision surfaces"
Then I get this problem when rendering.
-------------------------
LINK 0.0 error 191007: cannot load
C:/Softimage/XSI_6.5/Application/bin/nt-x86/../subdivision.dll, The
specified module could not be found.
-------------------------
And then nothing is rendered at all. But if I unclick that option the
MI export takes much longer (since it tesselates it in the MI files).
Anyone knows a way around this problem?
I have a thread here about the problem
