Offset curve

Subject : Offset curve

Is there a way in XSI to create an offset curve of a NURBS curve? I'm thinking of using such a feature to create strokes for curves.
I already tested a command I found in NetView called OffsetCurve. However for some reason it always fails and never (?) gives me correct results.

Any ideas?
