Yeah, it would be nice to have a faster, more intuitive way to do simple mesh editing.  I'm not expecting Mudbox or Zbrush power tools...just simple improvements on what we already have.  For example, Max had a great, fast paint based relax and smooth tool.  Had a lot of options and was very quick.  Great for smoothing out and relaxing areas without pre-selecting clusters or dealing with weight maps.

Kind of. Turn off weight map visibility and change the viewing mode to shaded. Of course, soon as you change your view XSI, bless it, turns it back to constant and switches on the weight map visibility. How annoying is that?

 It does mean, though that a fix is probably possible, if enough people shout loudly enough.

Plus, if I'm remembering right, you can't hide the colored feedback like you can in Maya. I don't want to see the blue colored map, I just want to see the shape of the geo most of the time. If anyone has a workaround, please tell me.
