By Render Channel I mean
framebuffer. Just like when you do a region render and click the little arrow
> Render Channel > Motion for example. The Preview window doesn’t
write to disc so I’m not sure how imf_disp could help in that way.
I’m not a big fan
of the render Preview but to my knowledge previewing full-res is the only way
to get an accurate Maximum Motion evaluation in the script editor when working
with the Motion framebuffer.

imf_disp? it sould be in C:\Softimage\XSI_6.5\Application\bin
