Do curve>extract from subcurve, then close the new curve.  Never trust on XSI subcurves, there are so limited... Better to use just curves.

But dont I end up having to redefine the whole curve there? Ie, read out
knots etc and pass it back in or does it allow to only set what you want
to update? I guess i'll just give it a try tomorrow and see what
happens. Thank you,
