Hey, yeah it was allan jones' thickness shader. I dunno what's up
with XSI!? in the error it sais it can't find the dll but it's there
Holger I tried the the BA_raylenght shader first but it isn't
"transparent, and I ned the effect to... be additive.. like next
raylenght + 4th raylenght + 6th raylenght... or frontface to next
backface + next front to next back...
I wanted a really fast volume effect, but just I made it with a
BAvolume cloud with no light on... Thickness was just so... simple:-/
cheers

This should have the same effect. Was it Alan's thickness shader
you were trying to get working?
We're still on 5.11 here so havent yet come across the perils of
6.x :)

Subject: Thickness shader
Remember that one?
It's missing from XSIbase but I found it somewhere else, and
installed it but I get a PHEN 0.(anything from 2 to 8) error (shader
not found) - I'm in 6.5 btw.
Isn't there another similar fast shader I can use? or is there
something I can do to get Thickness to work?
I think there's something wrong with the installer/spdl... I moved
the dll to where XSI was looking for it, but It still wont work...
anyone..?
cheers
