Hi Guillaume one case where you can loose an effector is when you export a chain in a model but the effector is outside the model.

don't know how this is possible to remove the effector in XSI, but it is not the first time I see this weird behavior.
The guilty 2D chain can be exported in a model without problem for XSI ( see attached file )...
I replaced this little chain by a new one and now the Dupplicate Symmetry works like before.
