Only with custom shaders..

Mental ray hair, is not 3d, it's 2d planes..

So has vector information that faces the camera at all times.,.. If you have a shader for it you can convert this info..

I've seen it at a company i worked for and they had it working.

Subject: 2d motion blur on hairs

Hi all

Does anybody knows if it`s possible to use 2d motion blur on hairs with dynamics?

Are the motion vectors behaving properly or there`s no way to do it?

I`m sorry to bother but I don`t really have time to run tests on this and maybe some
user can share his experience

Thanks a lot
Any help would be very appreciated
