Have you done any optimising on your render settings. Also,
check out the bsp settings on your hair.
Your best bet here is to break the render down into chunks of,
say, 10 or 15 frames. This is good practice anyway. You should never assume
that a render will complete without crash.
Check out the batch making tool on my website.

Subject: "Not Enough Storage Available..."
Hi all,
I've been having some issues rendering a pass that has multiple hair systems
and particles.
I recently added another 2gb of Ram into the system and threw the 3GB switch;
even so, I can't seem to get a solid 20 frames rendering without a 'crash' ....
the error message I'm getting is the 'not enough storage available' Most of the
old threads I've found show people getting these errors with hi-res print, and
most of the proposed solutions were to split the image. This is a for an HD
spot though, so I'm not entirely certain what my options are. I've currently
disabled 'On-Disk Framebuffers' but I haven't really noticed a difference. I've
been rendering through the command line, and I have about 16gb free on the
c-drive of this workstation.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott Stewart
