Pingo,
Get a toon-ink-lens node and check bypass on, plug it into the base colour of a mix2colours node.
Plug the OA node into colour 1 of the mix2colours, set weight to 1 and mode to multiply.
plug the mix2colours onto the lens.

Hope that's ok.

Hey Chris, I forgot: how is it you do that: put the occlusion on the scene/camera?

When we've used occlusion on a camera, running it through a mix2colours with toon-ink-lens blah blah for scene wide ao, to loose the occlusion in the alpha:-
in the weight of the mix2colours make sure the alpha is set to 1
in the occlusion node, make sure the alpha of the dark colour is set to 1

I hope that makes sense.

Chris
