problem with KP_PointCache

Hi everybody!
We're trying to render a few scenes here which have the KP_PointCache 
operator in them. When rendering in the UI all is fine. However, in 
command line (xsibatch and xsi), there's an error message saying:
# ERROR : 2356 - This plug-in is not installed: KP_PointCache
and the objects are not updated in the images.
Anyone knows anything about this?

I installed the addon as-is in the workgroup. This is WindowsXP 32bit 
with XSI 6.5.
