hey tim

no offense taken its a legit question.
when i say 1.3 mem usage. i didn't mean RAM. (i have about 2 gigs ram)
ctrl+alt+delt then the task manager pops open and under the processes tab. xsi its take up 1.3 mem usage with no interactivity with the software.
everything in the scene is default. no skylight nor architectural materials where used. just a texture map for the hair and the text model. and yess it is a for look development. when i create passes it seems to render ok. some times it has unpredictable crashes.

could it be a bug in 6.02??

there isn't a win box here for me to test it on. only macs with bootcamp installed. funs fine if i don't deal with hair.
